Mr. Alberto Bachmann Senior came from Switzerland in the 20s to take over the bakery of the new Hotel Country Club in San Isidro of that time. He made a name as a good Swiss, saved his money, which he invested in a series of small shops around the peaceful oval of Miraflores. Then, he would name his business as La Tiendecita Blanca.
Traditions are born
Among other things, Mr. Alberto Bachmann brought to Lima the famous sliced bread. La Tiendecita Blanca created the inevitable Easter eggs for Easter Sunday and the countless European recipe cupcakes.
His son, Alberto Bachmann carries on the legacy of his father from the 80s, innovating constantly the gastronomy, maintaining quality and good service.
